Smart Language Services: Integration and Development
Background
Language services are services provided by agencies or institutions which offer language services to people affected with limited proficiency in foreign languages by using information, communication and technology strategies. To further improve the industry of language services from both academic and professional perspectives, and to enhance collaborations between western China and the outside world, College of Foreign Languages and Cultures (CFLC), Chengdu University and Sichuan Provincial Research Institute of Thai Studies (SPRITS) are hosting an international conference on language services with a theme of “Smart Language Services: Integration and Development”, aiming at providing an academic and professional platform for scholars and practitioners to share and contribute their knowledge and practices for better communications and further collaborations.
Time: October 15, 2019.

Capacity: Maximum 100 attendees, including keynote speakers, panel chairs and discussants, paper presenters as well as audiences for all the sessions.

Call for PAPER:
Issues to be covered for idea exchanges and knowledge sharing at the conference include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Thai Studies
Full research papers between 5000-8000 English words in length are expected to be submitted by emails to cflc@cdu.edu.cn by August 30, 2019. All submissions to the listed research fields will be evaluated for novelty, significance, and soundness, and will be blind-reviewed by experienced researchers in the domain. Final acceptance will depend on whether the author(s) can adequately address review comments to the satisfaction of the reviewers. Authors are expected to submit their revised manuscripts by the deadline, which will be published in the proceedings after the conference.
Deadline of Full Paper Submission: August 30, 2019.
